I went to Fiji for the first time when I was not much older than Olivia, we stayed at the Naviti Resort. It was the best holiday. Kids club. Long days in the pool. 1991 New Years Eve fireworks complete with sparklers. I never wanted to come home.
Mum has always said she wants to go back as it was so wonderful. Every time I suggest a holiday she says “Take the kids to Fiji. You will not regret it”.
Dreaming of warmer weather and white sand, I have been pricing up holidays and wondering how on earth we would ever pay for it. Yes I know Master G will be a baby for a couple of years so he can sit on my lap on a plane, but Olivia is just getting bigger and after taking her to Sea World last year, I would want another kid friendly holiday.
For laughs, I thought I would see if the Naviti still existed. 25 years on, the place looks better than ever!
Enter Layaway Travel
This genius company has given me hope that after bubs is born, we might actually be able to afford a family holiday.
They offer National and International packages to a number of destinations BUT the big difference is they allow you to LAYBY YOUR HOLIDAY.
WHAT! I know.
We are a one and a bit income family, so the budget is closely monitored and planning is an absolute must. I shop the sales, use layby and afterpay and sell as many unwanted items I can.
That’s why Layaway is so appealing to us. We can plan, manage and not have a massive bill at the end of the holiday.
It is as simple as picking your destination, selecting your options, picking your payment plan (daily, weekly or monthly) and packing your bags! No deposits. No interest. Just peace of mind travel.
I found the following package on their site for the Naviti Resort.
Accommodation, Full Breakfast Daily., Kids up to 12 yrs eat all meals FREE at Nukunuku Buffet Restaurant, Return Economy Class Airfares, Return Airport Transfers, Inflight Meal, Checked Baggage and Airport Taxes
You can choose which room you want so I went with the primo Ocean View Room for fun.
Then I played around with the calculator to see how it works. It adjusts for each room you pick and gives you the breakdown per week, fortnight and month.
